Lace Trimmed Socks


So, I had these old tube socks and they were really ugly, so I wanted to upcycle them. I think one pair had blue and yellow stripes at the top and the other had this weird rose thing. Anyway, I think they are much cuter now. 

What you'll need: 
-Tube socks
-Lace trimming 
-Needle/Thread
-Scissors 

I didn't take many pictures because the whole process is pretty simple... 


Take your socks and if you have any designs on the top you don't like, go ahead and cut them off. If not, move to the next step.
Don't cut your trim until you're completely done sewing-very important. You have to remember that your socks need to stretch in order to put them on. It would be ideal to get a stretchy kind of trim. My trim was not stretchy, so I had to pull the sock pretty tight while I sewed the lace on. 
Pretty much all you have to do is finish sewing the lace all the way around the sock. Then you can tie your knots and cut the trim.
